Cancer and Hypnosis

Hypnosis and Self-Hypnosis can make a huge difference in how we experience challenging illnesses, cancer being one example.

For most people the world does seem to come to a crashing halt when they receive the life threatening diagnosis of cancer.

Life changes completely, becomes office visits, therapies and surgeries, while riding physical and emotional roller coasters.

And even though a diagnosis of cancer will change a person and will have an enormous impact in their lives, it is important to understand:

remembering this can change the entire experience.

Okka knows first hand - due to her own experience with breast cancer - how challenging this journey can be. She also has used very successfully hypnosis, self-hypnosis, and guided imagery as ways to assist her body in its healing process.

Studies of patients undergoing surgery who were taught self-hypnosis by the team of Dr. Mehmet Oz, cardiothoracic surgeon and frequent Oprah Winfrey guest, revealed that the patients were:

  • significantly less tense
  • less depressed,
  • less fatigued
  • required less medication
  • felt empowered
  • left the hospital sooner

than those who did not receive the training.

Here is a video with Gregg Braden on curing cancer using our own technology of emotions:

Using hypnosis and self-hypnosis while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments has shown significant benefits. Side effects which might occur with either treatment are lessened. And when you - as the patient - begin to to take on an active role in your journey of healing, you will feel better.

You might be surprised to find out, how easy it is to work with someone who has been there and done it, who understands your needs and wants and will help you to discover the many tools within to heal and feel better.

Okka also offers help and assistance for the care-giver, since their role is so very important throughout the entire healing process and is being overlooked too often.
